I'm still alive, I swear...

...and I have good news.

Act Four is finished, save for some editing and minor alterations. Finally got two things that I've been lacking this year: A) motivation and B) time.

Motivation came in the form of a question from a friend of mine. Apparently, one of my buddies has decided to get on the fiction-writing bandwagon. That got me thinking, "Damn, if he's doing it, why am I just sitting on my ass?"

Well, the reason for that (in part) was lack of time. A work colleague of mine once commented that "You will never be less busy than you are now." Boy has that ever proven true. But, I have found some gaps in the schedule, enough to cram out a couple of troublesome scenes that I just wasn't all that enthused about writing. Once those were out of the way, the rest of Act Four just flew by.

I'll be posting the rest of Acts Three and Four over the next few days. I've also begun a new blog where I'm posting some of my old BattleTech fiction (not-coincidentally, the very novels that Michael writes in this story. Kinda meta, I know, but fun.)

Enjoy!
